Eva Young

She/Her/Ella

Eva Young has over 25+ years of experience designing and implementing leadership programs and change initiatives to support workplaces where everyone feels included, valued, respected, and able o contribute fully. Eva centers racial justice, healing, and addressing systemic Anti-Black racism as essentials to develop caring, healthy, effective and thriving teams and organizations.

Eva has been a member of the BOLD Center Faculty since 2013. Currently, Eva is the co-lead and a member of the Design and Facilitation Team of BOLD’s Sowers of Creative Leadership Initiative. An initiative to co-create new models of leadership for women of color and gender expansive people of color at SEIU. In addition, Eva provides coaching to leaders in Locals and at the IU who are seeking alignment of their vision and purpose with a comprehensive approach of “being” and “doing.”


Eva has a Master’s degree in Social and Organization Leadership from George Mason University; she is a Certified Coach (CPPM) from the Newfield Network, and a Massachusetts Institute of Technology (M.I.T.) Community Fellows. Her educational background and professional experiences have provided Eva with the theoretical foundation for her work. Eva keeps deepening her own understanding and practice of mindshift learning, intersectionality, spirituality, power dynamics, somatics, individual and collective transformation, and mindfulness.


Eva is fluent in Spanish and English.
