Jeremiah White

Jeremiah is an organizational change consultant and leadership development coach based in Philadelphia, Pa. Over the years, he worked and volunteered with many types of organizations in a variety of roles on boards and as staff. His drive to create change in communities led him to engage in direct community organizing and economic development, social justice and restorative work. He trained community organizers to build and manage organizations, create coalitions, and mobilize folks to create change at the grass roots level. In addition, he worked in and led organizations pursuing empowerment of groups, workers, and community to undo racist and other practices.

As CEO of White and Associates, Jeremiah offers transformational consulting strategies that uses cultural change to humanize working environments by fostering inclusive and equitable participation in decision making, power sharing, and accountability. He champions connecting members, clients and community to organizational mission, policy and practice in order to respect their lived experiences. He encourages the creation of a culture rooted in values and principles that appreciate and respect diversity, inclusion, equity and incorporates intersectionality into organization. He works with organizations, groups and individuals (managers, front line workers, and executives) providing training, executive coaching and real time strategic guidance.

His approach to coaching is participatory and supportive. He realizes that lived experience derived from family, schooling, community, faith, training, work, etc. prepares people for current and future tasks and opportunities. However, sometimes lived experience while foundational does not prepare us entirely and we need to engage in learning, training, reflection and change in order to master new situations. As a result of working in many fields with folks with different backgrounds, roles and responsibilities, Jeremiah has gained insight into helping clients become successful and as a result has worked with people on the frontline to the board room.

Jeremiah has consulted with numerous organizations and most notably as senior consultant for MPGC based in NYC providing DEIB and organizational consulting. Jeremiah has a bachelor’s and master’s degree from Antioch College and University in education and administration in health care services respectively.
