Kelly Macías

Kelly Macías, Ph.D. is a consultant specializing in organizational development, diversity, equity and inclusion and leadership development. She has spent more than 20 years working with domestic and international organizations supporting their programmatic and institutional efforts to increase their effectiveness and further equity and social justice in the world. Kelly also has experience in various movements as a writer and communicator, having written for and worked extensively with advocacy groups geared toward elevating the political voices and leadership of women of color.
Since 2015 she has worked with SEIU, first as staff in the BOLD Center, where she managed the union's equity and inclusion programs in locals across the United States and Canada, coached local leaders and senior leaders at the IU, and served as a facilitator for BOLD Rockwood. As BOLD faculty, she led the development of the Sowers of Creative Leadership Program and currently serves as a facilitator for the program, as well as continues to coach leaders within the union. Kelly holds a Ph.D. in Conflict Analysis and Resolution from Nova Southeastern University.
