Sabrina Lakhani

She/Her

Sabrina Lakhani (she/her) is an expert in racial justice and health equity, with more than 10 years of experience working in nonprofits and government. As a strategic thinker and connector, she works with organizations to drive change, transforming theory into reality through action. Her skills include leveraging equitable data practices to inform transformative change, strategic planning and goal setting through the lens of racial justice, and engaging various stakeholders to advance a shared vision and mission. As a Pakistani immigrant, she also supports other AAPI communities in assessing and addressing the manifestations of white supremacy and specifically anti-Black racism within AAPI communities.


Sabrina has spent her career building programs focused on advancing racial equity in health and wealth at organizations such as Planned Parenthood Federation of America, the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene and the Children’s Aid Society. She earned a master’s degree from the London School of Economics and a bachelor’s degree from University of Florida, and was a 2017-2018 Health Equity Awakened Fellow and a 2016 New Leaders Council Fellow.
