Theodros Gashaw

I have extensive experience working with unions organizing members of all sectors, local, county, state and federal. I've worked with two SEIU locals: Local 1000, organizing state workers in California; and with USWW, United Service Workers West, organizing property services workers in California. I've also worked with IFPTE local 21 in the Bay Area and the Union of American Physicians and Dentists in Washington state. I've held positions including organizer, political organizer, lead organizer, director of organizing, and special assistant to the chief of staff. I have extensive experience building union membership, developing leaders, and running campaigns while integrating the principles of anti-racism with these bodies of work. I also have extensive experience consulting in the midwest (Minnesota, the Dakotas, llinois, Wisconsin,etc).My greatest strength is injecting joy into challenging work and problem solving.
