Victor Chears

Victor E. Chears, EdD [he/him] has built a coaching and consulting practice focused on values, humility, active listening, and strategic questioning in service to unions and their leaders. His approach is grounded in being a catalyst for actionable solutions that honor each person’s humanity and unique perspective. He looks to create spaces where connection, discourse, and insight can thrive. He has been a member of BOLD for several years working with locals and the IU. He also works with several organizations rooted in the labor movement. The metaphor he is proud of is that he has become a “Swiss Army Knife” – dependable, versatile, and adaptable – to meet the needs of the situation. He is a deeply rooted champion of equity, justice, learning, and social change. Victor lives in Chicago, IL.
